How long from the time you apply, does it take to get the money from financial aid, and student loans?
The semester starts January 12th, and I am applying now, anyone know when I will recieve the grants and loan money? an estimate..
I plan on using loan and grant money to pay for living expenses also, I’m a single mom and I decided to give up on trying to find a decent job, and go back to school so that I can find a good job in a couple years when I finish, but I will have to live off of financial aid for awhile, and I need an idea of when I can start doing that since I am unemployed right now, any advice and answers are appreciated:)
Not sure where you are or what your situation is, but I know many people who have not gotten their student loans until 3 months in to the semester. My best advice, make sure that all of the information on your application is ABSOLUTELY correct because they will send back the form to as many times as necessary for silly little things, which slows up the process for a couple of weeks each time.
