Student loans bad idea?
I am having a hard time working full time and going to college full time. I am working towards a bachelors in computer science. My tuition and books are paid for, but my job to support my living expenses is severely interfering with my study time. This last semester I was only able to complete 2 classes now that I am in my more difficult junior year. Is it a good or bad idea to take out a 30-40k student loan to support myself till I am done with school?
I fear unless I do something different it will take me another 3 or 4 years to finish school at this rate.
Student loans aren’t a bad idea. Since you are in college expect to be poor. Take out loans only for what you need to survive. This way they will be easier to pay off later while allowing you to succeed in school now!
