how do I find out if I have a lien against me from the IRS due to non-payment of student loans?
I took out a student loan when I was going to graduate school and they have been in default/collections since 2006. The collection agency is currently in the process of granishing my wages–but have not yet sued me. Just wondering if I would receive any notice from the IRS regarding any liens I have against me.
