Bankruptcy Help? I'm currently on a plan of debt management that I asked the IVA failed because a large part?

of student loan debt was. I have £ 24,000 and I am wondering whether to go bankrupt. I currently live with parents and I wonder if I do, will be their home at risk? I have no assets except a car I do not want to lose. If I put the car on behalf of my partner can I avoid this? I do not want people coming around my parents house! Help

Debts to the Student Loans Company can not be included in bankruptcy, parent home is not your risk unless you have a part of it. Your bankruptcy will be advertised in the local newspaper, the London Gazette and the Insolvency Service website. You should not try to hide assets, like a car, which is a violation of bankruptcy and could cause you serious trouble. The Official Receiver may reverse operations like anyway. As others have said bankruptcy is a serious step, but there are a lot of help there. You may want try posting on a website expert debt. Www.talkaboutdebt.co.uk
