What to do about finding a place to live post grad.?
I graduate May 9 with my BA. I work at Wal-mart currently. I am majoring in communications. I am single. I have about 5,000 in debt not counting student loans. I currently make roughly 10,000 a year, but I hope to advance post grad, and/or get a better job.
In the mean time I am faced with trying to figure out where I will live after graduation. My mother will not allow me to live or stay at home at all post grad and I do not desire to push that.
I prefer to buy a home but am unsure of where my perminent residence will be. I am looking at two small towns in Kentucky for residence for a year or so at least.
What should I be looking for in a place to live? Where is a good place to look? Any other advice?
I doubt you will be able to get a loan for a home. Try a house share or one bedroom apt.
