Money for college?
I have lived in Maine for the last 7 years. I plan on moving back to Florida for college though. I’ll be living with my parents, and going to a community college, but when we move my mom won’t be earning enough and FASFA won’t help me cause my mom apparently makes to much money, and I’m scared take out a student loan. Any suggestions?
If you are not eligible for the financial aid provided through the FAFSA (and you should never assume…be sure to apply), then your two choices are to work and save enough to pay for school, or take out student loans. You can do a combination of the two, as well. The less loan you take out, the better. However, if taking out a student loan is the difference between getting a college education, or not…then it’s worth it.
