Student Loans for 4 years?

I’m will like to enroll in a bachelor’s degree program, for accounting, at a neighboring college where I live in Minnesota, and I would like to know if I could get a student loan for a four year degree, is it realistic. Furthermore, I would like to know if it would be practical for me, finically and non-detrimentally, to attend a private or a community college.

Check out http://www.mhec.org/index.asp?pageid=1 to see if you can receive lower tuition at a college in a neighboring state.

A community college is going to charge the lowest tuition rate, followed by public colleges, with private institutions charging the most. If you can afford it and the school offers what you are looking for, there’s no reason not to attend a private institution. However, if you aren’t sure what you want to major in, a community college might be best to take your general studies courses. It’s personal preference and whatever works best for you.
