I want to join the National Guard or Army. Will they help me pay off prior student loans?
If I decide to join the National guard, will they help me pay off existing student loans or is the Army a better option? I would like to enlist but I still have to pay back my student loans. I have both private and Federal.
Also, I just finished my junior year in college. Is there any way of me to finish my final year before becoming getting deployed. I am not afraid of going overseas but would like to finish my degree first. I can not simply join after because I can not do so financially.
Lastly, there are numerous reasons I want to join the armed forces..it’s not just about the financial but I am trying to make sure I choose the best option for myself since I am most certainly going to join. So what do you think?
You shouldn’t finish college yet. You should have joined a while ago. Join the Army Active duty. You get a bigger bonus that you can use towards your loans, also college during your term. When you get out you also have money for college (There are bonus plans that take like 5 grand away from your bonus and give you like 59K for college after your out (This is what i did))
