Teacher Training – PGCE?
I am currently completing a B.A and want to go on to do a PGCE, teaching English to key stage 3 and up. What I want to know is, do i have to pay to do a post-grad if i want to do teacher training? If so, how much? & Are their any special grants or loans avaliable? – I know that they dont give student loans for post-grad courses.
In the distant part of my brain I am sure I’ve seen TV adverts that talk of Golden Welcomes for prospective teachers given by the DfES.
Plus isn’t there a post grad grant available ?
