Just sending in a student loan application now for the spring semester-can I still get the loan? (10 points)?
I’m just sending in an application for the NJCLASS loan tonight, requesting a loan (it’ll be around 5 or 6 thousand dollars) for the 2009 spring semester (late January to mid-May). Will it get denied because I am applying late, or does it not matter? I do have some other options lined up in case this does not work, and I know it’s late, but I’d really appreciate some help.
Notes: I’m a 19 year old freshman at Rutgers University, and I used personal money and some federal loans to cover my 1st semester expenses. For the spring semester, I have no more personal money left but I do have the federal loan, however, the federal loan only covers about a 1/3 of the costs, and that’s where the NJCLASS loan comes in. Thanks in advance for the help!
You’ve cut yourself awfully close. However because you’re applying for a loan, odds are good that it will get approved in time.
