Will I get my ex-husband’s tax intercept check if I am default on my student loans?
I am default on my student loans, and my tax refund was intercepted because of it, but it wasn’t enough to cover all of my student loans and I still owe a significant amount. However, I just learned that my ex-husband’s tax refund has been intercepted because of the past due child support he owes me. Can the student loan people take that money too, or will I receive his tax refund?
yes it will be taken to pay your debts and if there’s a balance u will get it.don’t forget about the rebate that’s coming b/c they will take that for child support too,so if u don’t get his refund u may get his rebate and yours too,if u get his refund u should get it within a month after they have taken from him.
