Can you retake a class and have a student loan pay for the class IF YOU DID NOT fail it?
I took my Comp I class like 4 years ago, I need to get my GPA up a wee bit and I did pass the class HOWEVER…the lady who I took the class with was a complete witch and gave me a D…and yet I had the highest GPA in the comp 2 class the following semester. I petitioned the grade but nothing came of it. It was a “satisfactory passing grade” and i have since graudated from the community college but the Bachelors degree requires a C or above. All my classes were paid for by a grant the 1st semester not a loan so if I used a student loan would it pay for it because i know in the terms and conditions it says “must past with a satisfactory score”….and I did and even graduated! Currious to see what is going to happen if I apply!
If you have any grant money (Pell and PHEAA), it will pay, you can take any class twice and they will pay.
Yes a student loan will pay to take the Comp 1 class over again. I had to at the Univ of Pittsburgh because they wouldn’t accept my Comp I from a comunity college and it was a C. I retook it for an A.
A “D” in Comp is never a satisfactory grade, Both English Comp’s are GenEd (general education) requirements and have to have a C or better. Someone might have done you a favor at the community college, but it will catch up to you at a university.
