Question regarding Irish universities and UK students?
are UK students considered international students by universities like UCD?
does Ireland have tuition fees like in England, or follow the more agreeable Scottish ideal?
and how does this affect UK student loans? as in does the UK government still pay out?
I probably wouldn’t go that far away from home but was just curious as to whether it’s even an option for people really?…
They are treated as International Students in the same way as Spanish or French, but not like American, basically your treated as an EU citizen.
There is a registration fee payment at the begining of each year, this pays for exams and student services, its about €700 i think. Tuition is free for any EU citizen.
I’m not sure about UK student loans, in Ireland there is a grant system operated by local authorities or Local education boards.
