Can I become a Pilot?
I’m 19,Malaysian..My ambition is to become a Pilot…
but I can’t join the cadet pilot program by Mas and Air Asia, cos I can’t reach their requirements, I got C for my Physic ( I’m feel so regret that I didn’t study well for my SPM)
and My parents can’t afford the 220K++ pilot fees for the private school.
and joining the Air Force will takes a lot of times (like 9 years?)

I praise for your ambition to become a pilot. I too had a chance to become one but i did not fight for it as much as i should have, and i missed the oppurtunity. But, a few of my friends did manage to do it even when they are 32 years old after trying out something else. What they did was, they enroled with AirAsia and paid 75k (this fee was quoted then) with a contract of 4 or 6 years to work with them cos tt is the only way you could pay them back. Not to worry, You could do some yrs with AirAsia and then go to the MiddleEast for better pay in which you will be penalised but what is tt penalty compared to what you’ll be getting in MiddleEast right. So keep your head up and give it a try. Some rumours are saying tt due to the economic problems, they are not conducting the cadet pilot program, bro you dont have anything to lose, just go and ask them at their head office.
