Which bank / company to apply for a student loan?

I'll go to the UK (from U.S.) to study full-time supervisors. I would like to know how to approach an application for student loans. Such as which bank / company that I should ask for information? And what information is relevant? There is not much money for scholarships in the program one of the schools I applied to, if need to borrow money to study and live in the United Kingdom. Thank you
