Do I qualify for some kind of student loan?

Hello!
I’m a resident of the republic of Ireland and was interested in applying to universities in England – I was just wondering whether I qualify for any financial assitance/student loans or anything??
I’d really appreciate any information or links!
I heard that there may be an agreement between the Irish and English governments where residency isn’t an issue as england doesn’t recognise republic of ireland as a foreign country….(?)

I know if you was from northern Ireland you can apply for student finance, to study in the UK however, The republic of Ireland is not part of the UK, However saying that, the information you state above could be correct, (I hope so). I have posted some links below which might help you. GL
