What can I do with a chemistry degree?

I have a BS and I worked in a company making organic synthesis for year and a half. It was too dangerous. I want an interesting job where I can solve problems. Things I've thought about are: 1) Go to med school, but it bothers me that doctors hardly get to see patients.I 've heard that after their insurance and pay for the staff, they can sometimes make little or no money. I am not greedy, but I need more than 20k/yr, esp after the student loans. 2) Graduate CHEM, but I have no patience, I would not make a good teacher. I think I'd like grad school, but hate jobs I could get from there. Lab work is too dangerous, I lost my nerve 3) School of Pharmacy, pharmacy does not seem like an interesting job, it is simply a lot that is attractive, because if I did not like that only I could work less, someone Does it have anything to add to these options, or entering the jobs I listed. I'm really stuck and would appreciate the help
