Student loan broker?

I am currently a mortgage broker and there are too many problems in this area for me to continue. Too much fraud and other problems. I'm looking to go to become a broker of loans for students … I recently received a student loan for me and I noticed I was charged $ 3,000.00 for a student loan $ 30,000.00! I thought there could be a career here. Anyone know of any student loan lenders in bulk? I made my loan with Astrive and they negotiated of Charter One. Since I have a financial lender California License I do not know if I can broker to the lender. Please let me whether there is a directory just as it is in the mortgage business.
