Question for primary school teachers: Loan forgiveness and tuition help?
I am a student pursuing a degree in education. It looks to me like I will be at least $ 50,000 in the hole by the time I recieve my masters degree in science & math with a grade 4-9 teaching endorsement. Are there any programs availible to forgive these debts? Do the districts sometimes help with the tuition for a masters degree?
Some states will pay off your loans if you work for them a certain number of years, you may be able to get the governement to forgive yoor loans if you work in a teacher shortage area.
