FAFSA question please help me?
i want to take out a student loan from FAFSA. the school is around 11,000 dollars a year and i will have no family contribution as i am a legal immigrant staying with my uncle. i want the type of student loan that i can get in my bank account and not the one from school. i need to purchase a used car as my commute has no available public transport. will FAFSA cover all, a little, most, some, or over this amount? thank you 10 pts to be given. also, can i ask from room / board even though i will be staying with him?
I think you are confused about what FAFSA is.. FAFSA is an application which runs all the information through a formula and determines what you may reasonably afford to pay towards your college education costs each year. The financial aid offices of the schools use that number to put together an aid package. So FAFSA doesn’t give you the aid.. but helps the schools to determine how much money you need.
